Rae West doesn’t tiptoe into anything; she dives in with curiosity and a wicked sense of fun. From a boundary-pushing first shoot to fully embracing her freaky side, Rae has learned how to balance real-life responsibilities with showing up ready to play on set. In this interview, she gets candid about chemistry, last-minute adventures, why she’s enjoying the quiet before turning the heat all the way up in 2026, and so much more.
SCREW: What was your first experience on a porn set like?
Rae West: My first professional shoot was anal, and it was with Cory Chase for her and her husband’s company Taboo Heat. I was very excited but overwhelmed. Both Cory and Rob made me feel very comfortable and safe, but the whole experience was very overwhelming. I was new to anal and everything felt so surreal. Once we were in the scene, I was able to relax and enjoy making the film. I love their acting styles and our chemistry.
What’s a typical Sunday in your world look like when you’re not filming or working?
I am at home with my son. On Sundays, I do laundry and get ready for the week ahead. But also checking my sites, messaging fans, and deciding what I want to upload that week.
What are some things you’ve learned about yourself as a result of your career?
That I am very adventurous sexually. When I got started, I was very vanilla (which is totally fine). I wouldn’t even kiss a woman or do anal. But the more scenes I shot, I got more comfortable and curious. I love that I can explore things sexually in a safe and respectful environment. I have discovered that I am a FREAK!! Haha.
How do you prepare for a shoot? What’s your mentality when walking onto set?
I check out who I am working with and try to get a sense of their personal style. I make sure to pack a variety of lingerie, shoes, and makeup. I also like to be awake ridiculously early so I don’t feel rushed and forget something. My mentality is upbeat and happy to be there. I am a pretty chill person, so I like to make sure that myself and the talent have good chemistry. I am a total professional who is ready to work, but I also like to be friendly so we can both have a good scene.
What was it like filming your scene in Big Wet Black Tits 8?
I had a great time filming that scene. I was nervous because it was for a new company, but very excited. We shot it at Cory Chase’s house, so that made me a lot more comfortable, and having Jonathan Jordan filming was great too.
Do you enjoy being spontaneous, or do you like planning everything in advance, both on set and in life?
One of my favorite quotes is: “If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.” I try to have things planned out, but I know life has a way of surprising you. So both!! Haha. I love making sure to plan and be organized, but when I get an email with a pro shoot, and it’s this weekend, I love scrambling and going on a new adventure.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Leave that guy alone, get a degree, and travel to other countries!!!
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Something involving music, I am a total music and art lover! But where we can talk to each other. Enjoy a decadent meal and end it cuddling up with some stinky weed and some of those beautiful desserts I have been seeing online.
What are you most looking forward to as this year winds down, either personally or professionally?
The calm before 2026!! I look forward to relaxing at home and getting ready for what’s ahead.
Do you have any upcoming projects that you’re excited about?
Yes!! I have two shoots right after Christmas in LA, and I am planning another FL trip with Taboo Heat.
