The 2026 State of The Erection

The 2026 State of The Erection

My fellow Degenerates,

Tonight, while the President speaks of borders, budgets, and battles here and abroad, I rise to address a different union. A quieter one. A lonelier one. A nation united not by party, but by bandwidth.

The State of the Erection is strong…

In the past year, the global adult industry generated more than $100 billion in revenue, supporting tens of thousands of jobs across production, technology, marketing, moderation, payment processing, and platform infrastructure. In the United States, the industry accounts for $10–15 billion annually, with more than 100,000 workers earning their primary income directly or indirectly from adult entertainment.

This is not fringe commerce.
This is mainstream digital media.

Platforms now serve hundreds of millions of daily users worldwide, with mobile access driving accessibility and creator independence. Subscription models have reshaped the economy, allowing performers to own their audiences directly. In the past year, creator-driven platforms paid out billions of dollars, shifting power away from studios and toward individuals, many of whom now set their own prices, schedules, and boundaries.

Innovation remains relentless.
AI tools are reshaping production workflows.
VR is projected to exceed $1 billion in market value.
Ethical and performer-first platforms have grown 50% year over year, responding to consumer demand for transparency, consent, and fair compensation.

Amateur and independent content now represents nearly half of all major-site uploads, reflecting a democratized media landscape where entry barriers are low and opportunity is broad. The average user is no longer niche or hidden, but demographically diverse, global, and engaged across age, gender, and orientation.

The adult industry continues to do what it has always done best: adapt faster than regulation, innovate faster than critics, and monetize attention before anyone else figures out how.

This is not about vice.
This is about bandwidth, platforms, creators, and choice.

The State of the Erection is profitable.
It is scalable.
It is technologically ahead of the curve.

And like it or not, it remains among the most efficient capitalist engines in the digital economy, and in the history of the world.

Thank you, and God Bless the Erection.
